John & Marissa chose to do a couples photo session at Deception Pass. As we took photos John and I communicated behind the scenes with nods and winks. After about 10 minutes of photos in various locations John used a specific set of words and queued me in to pose Marissa with her back to him. And then he got down on one knee…and when she turned around of course she said yes!

Keown family wanted to do some photos before they announced the arrival of baby number 2. We chose to do the lovely summer session at Hovander Park in Bellingham to take advantage of the dahlias in bloom. Little Noah was about to turn 1 so we combined the session with her cake smash. Such a beautiful family!
